Biography:
Younger brother of Shea Charles, the siblings were also on the books of Manchester City's Academy together. In August 2021 Pierce joined Sheffield Wednesday and he was quickly training with the firstteam. In January 2024 he made his debut in an FA Cup tie against Coventry. Although still back-up in the league, he was installed as his clubs' "cup 'keeper" for 2024/25.
Charles followed his brother through the Northern Ireland youth teams before earning a first senior call-up in May 2024. That summer he was number one for the Under-19 team as Northern Ireland hosted the European Championships.
