Biography:
Trai Hume joined Linfield as an 11 year-old and signed as a professional in January 2019. Three months later, on 23rd April, he made his first-team debut in a 5-1 win over Cliftonville. He was captain of the Swifts team that claimed the Steel & Sons Cup in December 2019.
During a season long loan with hometown club Ballymena, Hume established himself in the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad. On his return to Linfield he established himself in the first team, and impressive form brought him a big-money move to Sunderland in January 2022.
