In the last twenty-one seasons 57 Northern Ireland internationals have made a firstteam appearance in the English Premier League. Of these players, just 18 have made more than 100 appearances, with Aaron Hughes the only one to appear more than 250 times (455 in total). Iain Dowie holds the record for goals scored (33) with five other players tallying in double figures, including one still active player, Chris Brunt (20). Two players have claimed Premier League winner's medals, Roy Carroll (2003) and Jonny Evans (2009, 2011, 2013), both with Manchester United. Seven Northern Ireland-born/qualified managers have led teams in Premier League matches, with Martin O'Neill sitting sixth in the all-time table having taken charge of Leicester City, Aston Villa and Sunderland a total of 359 times. Brendan Rodgers (Liverpool) is the only current Northern Irish manager in the Premier League.
