Biography:
Jamie Mulgrew had been on the books at Glentoran before he joined Linfield in June 2005. He made his deut for the Blues in a 2-0 home win over Loughgal on 20 August 2005 and scored his first goal for the club in a 4-0 win at Lisburn Distillery on 4 November 2006. That season he claimed his first major honours in the shape of an Irish League and Cup "double" and the following campaign he claimed the League Cup as well as the "treble" was completed. In 2009/10 he was voted Linfield's Player of the Year and come the end of the season was included in the Northern Ireland squad that travelled across the Atlantic and he started both matches against Turkey and Chile. 2015/16 was designated as his testimonial season by Linfield, and this culminated with a gala match against Rangers on 3 September 2016. To the start of the 2016/17 season Mulgrew has made 436 appearances and scored 40 goals for Linfield including 24 games and 2 goals in Europe.
