Biography:
A former Northern Ireland Under-21 captain, Chris Turner finished 2009 as Dundalk's topscorer and earned a place in the PFAI Team of the Year. He signed for Sligo Rovers in the closing weeks of the season only to leave for Shamrock Rovers without playing a firstteam game. He has been a key member of the Rovers side that claimed the 2010 League of Ireland title, finished runners-up in the FAI Cup and impressed against Juventus in the Europa League. Rovers retained the League title the following year and became the first Irish team to progress to the group stage of the Europa League.
