Biography:
A prolific scorer, Harry Johnston registered over 100 goals across three seasons with Portadown. He recorded five in a single match on four occasions, including against Barn in 1926/27 and Glentoran the following season.

A different Harry Johnston also featured for Portadown around the same time. He played for the Ports' Reserves then Gilford Crusaders in the Irish Alliance where he twice won Junior international honours against Scotland before rejoining Portadown. In December 1933 he scored for Portadown in a 1-0 Gold Cup final win over Glentoran, their first senior trophy!
