Biography:
The younger brother of Dick Hooper, Willie replaced his sibling in the Ireland Amateurs side that avoided defeat for the first time ever with a 4-4 draw against England at Elland Road, Leeds.

The two brothers played alongside each other many times for Bohemians, indeed they were both among the scorers as the Bohs lifted their only Irish Cup following a 3-1 final replay win over Shelbourne.

More to follow.
