Biography:
To follow.

Since retiring as a player Mal Donaghy has coached or managed Newry, Cliftonville and Donegal Celtic. He also managed the Northern Ireland Under-19 team and is currently the Irish FA's Disability Football Development Officer.

Mal's son Ciaran has enjoyed a long Irish League career with Cliftonville, Newry City and Donegal Celtic having previously won Northern Ireland youth caps.
