Biography: 
An engineer by trade, Ronnie Reynolds had been with Glentoran as a boy, but was spotted by Ards playing junior football with Rathkeltair in Downpatrick. He established himself in the 1959/60, displacing the regular centre-half Albert Corry and earning amateur international recognition.
