Biography:
Capable across the back line or in midfield, but most at home at centre-back, Joey Jones spent time with Arsenal as a schoolboy before opting to sign youth forms with Leicester. He was released by the Foxes in the summer of 2013 without making a firstteam appearance but remained in the Championship with newly promoted Yeovil Town, signing after a successful trial spell. Having played only reserve-team football for the Glovers, he joined Conference side Woking mid-way through the 2013/14 season on a short-term loan deal.

Eligible for Northern Ireland thanks to his Ulster-born father, Dave, Jones was first capped as a fifteen-year-old at Schoolboy level. Although he retained ambitions of winning international recognition from his native-England, he continued through the Irish FA's youth teams, earning a first Under-21 cap in a friendly against Hungary in August 2012.
