The Junior International Quadrangular Tournament (known under the sponsored titles of the Guinness Cup (to 2000), the StatOil Quadrangular Tournament (2001-2005) and the Umbro Trophy (2008-date)) was first played in 1994. The competing teams throughout have been from the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and Scotland.
