  • The Turkish FA were fined £5,000 by UEFA for stone throwing incidents. Keith Gillespie and George O'Boyle were hit by missiles when inspecting the pitch before kick-off.
  • Gillespie and Neil Lennon had jewellery stolen from the dressing room during the first half. The stadium owners, Galatasaray, were warned that a repeat could mean closure.
