The Glossop Connection

Glossop North End joined the Football League in 1898 and changed their name to simply Glossop a year later. They remained a League team until failing to gain re-election 1915 after finishing bottom of the Second Division. The club continues, with the North End appendage re-attached, in the North West Counties League.
