Biography:
Following his release by Nottingham Forest in May 2010 Sean McCashin joined the Glenn Hoddle Academy, based in Spain, which aims to give unattached young players a second chance in football. As part of a financial arrangement the academy "loans" players to Spanish fourth-tier club, Jerez Industrial and as such their team is made up of mainly British and Irish players. Among the coaches that McCashin is working with in Spain is former Northern Ireland goalkeeping-coach, Dave Beasant.
