Biography:
Liam McMenamin (born Derry, Northern Ireland) is an Irish midfielder who currently plays for Sheffield Wednesday. Although an Academy player he was called up to the senior squad at the start of 2006-07 season to ease the club's injury problems. He arrived at Hillsborough on trial in Autumn 2005 and has since represented Northern Ireland in the European Youth Championships.

Elsewhere 18-year-old central defender Liam McMenamin from Londonderry was an unused substitute in Sheffield Wednesday’s draw at Scunthorpe, (07/04/2008)

He has yet to make his senior debut for Wednesday. Captained reserves.

Played in 2008 Milk Cup Winning side.

Released summer 2009.
