Biography:
Born in Roslyn Street, Belfast, Ronnie Griffin earned Schoolboy international honours while attending Park Parade. He enjoyed his best senior football with Ards, winning the Irish League and being part of the team that faced Reims in the European Cup.

He ignored overtures from Manchester United to stay in Belfast to study accountancy. He worked for Shorts and his day-job eventually took him to Scotland and Derbyshire with Rolls Royce.
