Biography:
A product of Ipswich Town's successful youth set-up, Chris Casement tasted some early successes as a strong central defender. He was part of the Tractor Boys team that claimed the 2005 Youth Cup and he played for Northern Ireland at various youth levels.

After only a handful of appearances for Ipswich and several loan spells away from Portman Road, Casement was released in May 2009. Later that month he was called-up to a weakened Northern Ireland squad for a friendly international in Italy.

In June 2009 Casement signed a three year deal at Scottish First Division side, Dundee. After just a handful of firstteam appearances he signed with Linfield on loan on 31st January until the end of the 2009/10 season. He left Dundee by mutual consent in June 2010 despite having two years to run on his contract. On 10th July he signed a two year part-time contract with Linfield.

Having failed to command a regular place at Linfield, Casement agreed to join Portadown for the 2012/13 season.
