Biography:
An amateur with Cliftonville during the 1950s, Bruce Shiells claimed Ireland Amateur caps and toured North America with the Irish FA in 1953. Most at home on the wing, where he was "fast, penetrative" and regarded as the best crosser in the Irish League, Shiels could also lead the attack.
