Biography:
A much-decorated player, Tim McCann's career yielded sixteen major honours in a career spanning 661 games. He was one of two Tim McCanns on the books of Glentoran during the early 2000s. McCann retired in December 2007 after several years of knee injury problems.

McCann served as assistant-manager at Glentoran before being appointed boss at Lisburn Distillery in May 2012. He was sacked by the Whites less than a year later after there relegation from the Premiersip was confirmed. From 2017-2022 he was part of the coaching staff at Larne and he returned to Glentoran as first team coach in July 2022.
