Biography:
A multi-honoured full-back with Linfield represented Ireland four times and the Irish League five.

In 1907, when Ireland faced Scotland at Parkhead, he went into goals for the last fifteen minutes when Billy Scott was injured. Already 2-0 down, despite the Scots losing a man themselves after fifteen minutes, the game finisheed 3-0.

George Willis was my Dad's uncle and I believe he ended up at a sanatorium in South Africa to treat his tuberculosis.
