Biography:

A prolific goalscorer with Linfield during the 1890s, scoring in the 1898 2-0 Irish Cup Final win over St. Columb's Hall Celtic. Transferred to Distillery in 1902, he won another League title in his first season at Grosvenor Park.

Capped twice by Ireland, in his second appearance he was awarded the captaincy and scored to give the Irish a 2-1 lead over Wales at Solitude, only for the Welsh to find a 85th minute equaliser.
