Biography:

Rich goalscoring form saw Charles receive his first senior international call-up in Match 2021. He made his debut as a 60th minute sub in a friendly defeat by the USA.

The following season his Accrington Stanley career stalled as he refused a new contract and he was banished from the first team. He has been linked with moves to a number of "bigger" clubs. He signed for Bolton as soon as the January 2021 transfer window opened for a six-figure fee.
