Biography:
A Gaelic footballer in his youth, Seanan Clucas came through the prolific Dungannon Swifts youth set-up during which time he played for Northern Ireland at Under-17 level. A combative defender or midfielder who excels at tackling and heading, he joined Preston North End on a two-year scholarship in the summer of 2009. Clucas was elevated to the Northern Ireland Under-21 team in November 2010, just days after his eighteenth birthday, and made his debut in a 3-1 defeat by Scotland.

Handed a professional contract by Preston at the of the 2010/11 season, Clucas made his début the following August in a Carling Cup clash with Crewe and his League bow a week later against Chesterfield. Later in the season he joined Burton Albion on loan, but was released on his return to Deepdale.

In July 2012 Clucas joined Bristol Rovers. He was again released following Rovers' relegation from the Football League in 2014. He returned home, signing for Linfield. He was released mid-season to allow him to join Derry City. As the Candystripes struggled he was released after just five months, with disciplinary issues cited by manager Peter Hutton, while the player felt he wasn't being played to his strengths.

After a spell spent in Australia, Clucas returned to hometown club, Dungannon Swifts. He rose to become club captain at Stangmore Parl before moving to Glentoran where he has continued to impress.
