Biography:
A graduate of Ipswich Town's Academy, Josh Carson has played throughout the Northern Ireland youth set-up before graduating to the Under-21s in November 2010. He made his Ipswich debut in a 2-0 victory over Scunthorpe in March 2011.
Carson played his first senior international matches in the Carling Nations Cup in May 2011. More recently Carson has fallen from the reckoning at Ipswich and spent the latter part of the 2012/13 season on loan at York City who were struggling at the foot of League Two. He played a small part in the Minstermen's eventual survival prior to suffering a broken foot that cut his stay short.
Sidelined by Ipswich manager Mich McCarthy, Carson spent time on trial with Bristol City, Notts County and Hibernian during the summer of 2013. He left Portman Road when his contract was cancelled by mutual consent prior to the closure of the transfer window that September. He had not featured in the firstteam since the previous October.
Nigel Worthington signed Carson for York on a permanent deal in September 2013. He was released following their relegation from the Football League in 2016 and joined Linfield after a successful trial, but left after a single season.

Peter Scott
Name: Peter William Scott
Born: 19 September 1952, Walton, Liverpool (England)
Height: 5.10 ft
Weight: 11.04 st
Position: Full Back
Representative Honours: Northern Ireland: 10 Full Caps (1975-1979); England: Youth.
Club Career:
Biography:
Something of a protégé at Everton, Peter Scott signed apprentice terms in September 1968 and turned professional in July 1970. His time a Goodison brought England Youth caps and his versatility – he could play on either flank as a full-back or as a winger – allowed him to establish himself in the first eleven while still a teenager. Scott’s League debut came against Ipswich in August 1971 and he played a total of 32 matches in his first campaign before dropping down the pecking order.
Although largely out of the firstteam picture at Everton, Scott was selected for Northern Ireland (the country of his father’s birth) in the spring of 1975. He made his debut at right-back in a win against Wales in May 1975 and played at left-back early the following season in a defeat in Yugoslavia. Northern Ireland were in an envious position for full-backs in the 1970s with Arsenal duo Sammy Nelson and Pat Rice and a young Jimmy Nicholl vying with Scott for the two places. Inevitably Scott was regarded mainly as cover throughout his five year international career.
In December 1975, having failed to feature for Everton since 29 March, Scott was transferred to Division Two York City. At the end of that season York finished in 21st place and were relegated. The downward spiral continued as the Minstermen finished bottom of Division Three in the next campaign and were relegated once again. Consequently Scott suffered the ignominy of playing in Division One, Two, Three and Four in consecutive seasons. It got worse still as York were forced to apply for re-election having finished bottom of the Football League at the end of the 1977/78 season. During his time at Bootham Crescent, Scott did add seven caps to those he won while with Everton, making him only the second York player to gain international recognition and the club’s leading cap-winner.
Scott left York in March 1979 to join fellow Division Four minnows, Aldershot. He made Shots history in May 1979 when he became the club’s only ever full international in their 65-year history with a substitute appearance against Scotland. That proved to be Scott’s final cap as Billy Bingham began to bring fresh talent into the Northern Ireland. Scott retired from football in May 1983.

First called into the Northern Ireland squad in 2002, Michael Ingham was set for his debut during the 2004 Caribbean Tour only to be ruled out through injury. He had to wait another year for his first cap against Germany in the Irish FA's 125th Anniversary gala match, thus bringing a windfall to Cliftonville due to an add-on clause in the deal that took him to Sunderland six years earlier.
..
Further caps were added to Ingham's collection during the US Tour in 2006 and in a friendly with Wales in February 2007, but he fell out of the international reckoning as he struggled for regular firstteam action in the lower leagues. He was in good form with York City as they reached the 2009/10 Blue Square Premier play-off final and indicated his disappointment at not being considered by Nigel Worthington for an international recall.
In 2012 York finally returned to the Football League, adding the FA Trophy for good measure. Ingham remained in goal as they retained their league status thanks to a late-season push under the stewardship of Nigel Worthington who was a late-season appointment following a poor run of results.
York were eventually relegated from the Football League in 2016. Although Ingham had been offered a new contract with the club he decided to move on. He joined Tadcaster Albion and took a role as goalkeeping coach with the club's owners, i2i Sports.

Biography:
A former Youth international, Alan Fettis made his name in the Irish League with Ards before a £50,000 move to Hull City. He established himself in the Northern Ireland squad through the early 1990s, taking advantage of the long-spells of injury that ruled out Tommy Wright.
Spells in the top-flight with Nottingham Forest and Blackburn Rovers both offered little in the way of first-team opportunities, and both saw relegation. Fettis' international career was ended with the emergence of Maik Taylor, though Sammy McIlroy did include him in the international squad as late as 2003.
One of the most experienced goalkeepers in the lower English Leagues, Fettis never wanted for a club. Aside from his international caps, claims to fame include two goals for Hull City (scored during a striker injury crisis at the club), and being named as Ards' greatest 'keeper of all time.
After retiring as a player in 2007, Fettis was appointed assistant goalkeeping coach at Derby County where he worked with Roy Carroll. In 2008 he was appointed goalkeeping coach at Cheltenham Town, and was also given the role of chief scout at the club. After working with the Northern Ireland Under-18 squad, Nigel Worthington appointed Fettis as goalkeeping coach for the a B international match against Scotland in May 2009. In July 2009 he joined the coaching staff at Sunderland and continued his role with the Northern Ireland set-up.
