Sunderland.. 16/17-17/18 Aug-16 £5.0
Middlesbro' .18/19- date Jul-18 £5.0m

Biography:
Paddy McNair joined Manchester United as a sixteen year-old midfielder in 2011. He was converted to defence when the reserve team where short of players and was promoted to the firstteam squad for the first time in August 2014 when he was an unused sub in a League Cup tie at MK Dons. Just a few weeks later he was again thrust into action due to a shortage of players, starting in the centre of defence for a Premier League match against West Ham at Old Trafford where he put in a man of the match performance in a 2-1 win. In addition, he has also featured at right-back for United's first team.

To date McNair has mostly seen action in midfield for Northern Ireland's age-group teams. He received his first senior call up in November 2014, shortly after his breakthrough at Old Trafford, and was an unused substitute against Romania. He made his senior international debut the following March at right-back in a friendly against Scotland and added a second cap as a midfield against Qatar in May. With Conor McLaughlin suspended for the key Euro 2016 qualifier against Greece, McNair played at right-back in a 3-1 win and retained his place for the following match against Finland.

Throughout the build-up to the 2016 European Championships in France Michael O'Neill employed McNair in a variety of positions, mostly in an eclectic mix midfield roles, both attacking and defensive. He started the opening match of the tournament against Poland, but was one of the victims of an unsuccessful tactical try-out that led to an underwhelming 1-0 defeat. His only other outing in France was as a late sub in the 2-0 win over Ukraine.

Back at Old Trafford there was upheaval as Louis Van Gaal made way for Jose Mourinho, a manager renowned for not giving young players a chance. McNair was allowed to leave for Sunderland in a combined deal with Donald Love valued at £5.5 million, though the majority of that was apportioned to McNair. At the Stadium of Light he teamed-up with ex-United boss David Moyes.

Biography:
Capable across the back line or in midfield, but most at home at centre-back, Joey Jones spent time with Arsenal as a schoolboy before opting to sign youth forms with Leicester. He was released by the Foxes in the summer of 2013 without making a firstteam appearance but remained in the Championship with newly promoted Yeovil Town, signing after a successful trial spell. Having played only reserve-team football for the Glovers, he joined Conference side Woking mid-way through the 2013/14 season on a short-term loan deal.

Eligible for Northern Ireland thanks to his Ulster-born father, Dave, Jones was first capped as a fifteen-year-old at Schoolboy level. Although he retained ambitions of winning international recognition from his native-England, he continued through the Irish FA's youth teams, earning a first Under-21 cap in a friendly against Hungary in August 2012.

Biography:
Captain of the Norwich side that won the 2013 FA Youth Cup, he scored penalties in both legs of a 4-2 aggregate win over ex-club, Chelsea.

Had been on the books at Fulham before signing for Chelsea as a 10-year-old in an £80,000 deal. He signed for Norwich after being released by Chelsea.

Joined Luton on a months loan in January 2014. The move was extended to the end of the season as Luton won the Conference title and McGeehan's impressive form earned him the Conference Player of the Month award for April.

Capped by Northern Ireland at Schoolboy and Youth level by Northern Ireland before elevation to the Under-21 set-up while just eighteen. Made his Under-21 debut as a sub in a 1-0 win over Cyprus in November 2013.

Made the bench for Norwich's senior team for a League Cup tie against Crawley in August 2014. After enjoying further successful loan spells with Cambridge and back at Luton McGeehan felt his career would be better served be leaving Carrow Road behind. He was once again signed by Luton, this time on a permanent deal worth "six figures".

In September 2015, McGeehan rejected a call-up for under-21 qualification matches against Scotland and Iceland, stating that he was "reconsidering his international future." In January 2017 he suffered a broken leg in a match against Portsmouth.

In May 2018 McGeehan was a surprise inclusion in the Northern Ireland squad for the Central American tour, though he had to withdraw through injury.

Biography:
A left-sided defender or midfielder, Luke Conlan has represented Northern Ireland at every level up to and including Under-21. Capped as a schoolboy while at St. Columba's in Portaferry, he impressed in the Victory Shield before joining Burnley in the summer of 2011. He was part of the Clarets side that reached the 2012 FA Youth Cup semi-final, leading him to sign his first professional deal that April.

In the summer of 2012 Conlan was part of the Northern Ireland squad that competed at the Milk Cup, despite being only 17 at the time. He was still a few weeks short of his nineteenth birthday when awarded his first Under-21 cap as a late substitute in a Euro qualifier against Serbia in October 2013.

In April 2014, with Conlan suffering from knee problems, it was announced the he would not be retained by Burnley for the following season. However, come September he had recovered sufficiently to be offered a new contract. In July 2015 he joined St Mirren on loan. In January he moved on another loan deal, this time to Morecambe, a deal that was made permanent at the end of the season.

Biography:
David Morgan joined Nottingham Forest as a fourteen year-old and progressed through their youth ranks. He was still just seventeen when called into the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad for the first time in May 2012, and he made his debut against England that November. By that stage he had already gained firstteam experience while on loan at Conference side, Lincoln City. That season he also spent time on loan with Dundee, playing his only SPL game as a substitute in a 5-0 defeat by Celtic.

Another loan spell in 2013/14 saw Morgan back in the Conference with Tamworth, however on his return to Forest he found himself surplus to requirements. He had grown frustrated at the managerial roundabout at the City Ground which saw ten different men (including "caretakers") in the hot seat During Morgan's six year association with the club, meaning that he was unable to make his mark, particularly with the repeated spells out on loan.

Morgan didn't move far from Nottingham after his release, joining up with Kevin Wilson's Ilkeston in August 2014. The following summer Morgan followed Wilson to Nuneaton Town.
