Biography:
Josh McQuoid's most impressive performance in a green shirt to date was a two goal salvo in an Under-21 international against Scotland.
A hattrick for Bournemouth against Tranmere in the FA Cup saw McQuoid called into the Northern Ireland squad as a late inclusion for a November 2010 friendly against Morocco. A week later he scored another hattrick as Bournemouth defeated Walsall 3-0. He then made his international debut as a half-time substitute against the Africans, and it was a foul on him that earned Northern Ireland a late penalty from which they equalised.

A week later he scored another hattrick as Bournemouth defeated Walsall 3-0. He then made his international debut as a half-time substitute against the Africans, and it was a foul on him that earned Northern Ireland a late penalty from which they equalised.
On 25th November 2010 McQuoid joined Millwall on an initial loan which became a permanent move valued at around £600,000 when the transfer window opened the following January. He failed to impress at the New Den and joined Burnley mid-way through the following season as striking cover. He was then allowed to return to Bournemouth on a three year deal in exchange for Scott Malone.
McQuoid made a rapid return to the Championship as Bournemouth were promoted as League One runners-up. Having struggled to make the Cherries side at the higher level, mainly due to injury, McQuoid joined Peterborough on loan and scored the opener as the Posh defeated Chesterfield in the 2014 Johnstone's Paint Trophy final at Wembley.
Prior to the start of the 2014/15 season McQuoid joined Coventry on a loan deal through to January.

Biography:
A young stocky striker, Billy Kee spent 2009/10 on loan at Accrington Stanley from Leicester City. He was part of the Northern Ireland side that claimed the 2009 Milk Cup Elite title and in September 2009, still just eighteen, he was called into the senior Northern Ireland squad. He was disappointed to be released by Leicester in May 2010 but quickly signed for Torquay United. In August 2011 he scored his first goals at Under-21international level, a virtuoso hattrick against the Faroe Islands, so becoming the first Northern Ireland player to score three in a match at that level. Early in the 2011/12 season Kee left Torquay for personal reasons. He move closer to "home" by joining Burton Albion for a fee believed to be around £20,000 and a startling run of goalscoring form saw him crowned Football League Young Player of the Month for October. In August 2014 he moved on to Scunthorpe for a fee believed to be around £250,000, earning Torquay a further £80,000 through a sell on clause. He failed to start a league game or score a goal for the Iron and joined Mansfield on a three-month loan deal mid-season.

Biography:
A free-scoring attacking player in lower-league football, Birmingham-born Jamie Ward played in the FA Youth Cup final with Aston Villa and captained their reserves but was released in 2006.
Qualifying for Northern Ireland through his grandfather, Ward has played at Youth and Under-21 level and was long touted for Full international recognition.
In January 2008 Barnsley had a £400,000 bid for Ward accepted by Chesterfield. A move seemed likely as he was to become a free agent in the summer but personal terms could not be agreed. Derby County also showed an interest, but it was Sheffield United that claimed his signature.
After initial good form with the Blades Ward's goals dried up and mid-way through the 2010/11 season he joined Derby County on loan in a deal that became permanent at the end of the season.
Ward was awarded his first call-up to the senior Northern Ireland squad in March 2009. Despite good club form he was overlooked for two years, sparking rumours of a falling out with Nigel Worthington. He was re-called to the squad in August 2011, making his long-awaited international début as a late sub against the Faroe Islands.
Since the appointment of Michael O'Neill, Ward has been a regular in the Northern Ireland squad when not injured. He bundled home his first international goal from close range to give Northern Ireland the lead against Portugal in a pulsating World Cup Qualifier in September 2013, though sadly a Ronaldo hattrick saw the Portuguese leave Windsor Park victorious.

Biography:
Winger Eric Welsh moved to Exeter City from the famous junior side Boyland in 1959. He made rapid inroads into the first eleven, playing his first match while still just seventeen, and establishing himself in the first eleven before he was twenty. For much of his time at St James Park, the Grecians were struggling towards the bottom of Division Four, and when they were promoted in 1964 Welsh had missed the entire season through injury.
In October 1965 Welsh made the move to Carlisle United in Division Two, and in 1966 he came within a whisker of helping them to top-flight football for the first time in their history. His fine performances did bring international recognition, and with the absence of John Crossan was selected in a re-shuffled forward line for the Home Nations match against Wales in March 1966. He put in a highly accomplished performance, scoring in a 4-1 win in Cardiff.
Welsh retained his place for the two end-of-season pre-World Cup glamour friendlies with Mexico and West Germany. The return to the side of the likes of George Best and Dave Clements limited Welsh to just one further cap, but his total of four still stands as a Carlisle club record. Another season-long injury ruled him out for the entire of the 1967/68 season and on his return he struggled to regain his form of old.
Spells with Third Division Torquay and Fourth Division Hartlepool were followed by a spell playing in South Africa. In March 1977 Welsh joined a struggling Distillery side, then being managed by his brother Roy.
Eric’s brother, Roy, won an Under-23 cap and played Irish League football with Distillery, Glentoran and Ards through the 1960s and ‘70s.

Biography:
Although Jim Hagan was never capped, he was a member of Danny Blanchflower's Northern Ireland squad of the late 1970s, and appeared for the "senior" team against Glentoran in Bobby McGregor's testimonial in May 1977. At the time he was making waves in the Irish League with Larne, and the previous season had been voted Ulster Young Player of the Year. In November 1977 he made a £25,000 move to the English First Division with Coventry City, leaving behind his job as a booking-clerk for the Larne-Stranraer ferries.
.
Hagan served a long apprenticeship at Highfield Road, but was unable to make a sustained impact on the first eleven. He spent spells out on loan with Torquay United (in September 1979), Detroit Express (in March 1980) and Seiko (in October 1980, where he helped the club to a clean-sweep of Hong Kong League, Cup and Senior Cup during an extended stay). Included by Billy Bingham in Northern Ireland's provisional forty man squad for the 1982 World Cup Finals, that was as close to international selection as he came during the 1980s, a mention as a "possible" in the 1986 World Cup brochure aside.
.
Finally released by Coventry in the summer of 1982, Hagan was snapped-up by another First Division side, Birmingham City. He walked straight into the starting eleven and remained a regular in the team for the next five seasons as the bounced between the top two Divisions. Capable anywhere across the back-four, it was as a bone-crunching centre-back that he will be best remembered.
.
In 1987 Hagan joined Spanish club, Celta Vigo. He spent two-and-a-half successful season in Spain, helping the club to promotion and top-half finishes in the Primera Liga, and being awarded as the Overseas Player of the Year in 1988, despite competition from the likes of Gary Lineker. Hagan returned to Larne in August 1989, and also spent a brief spell with Colchester United on a non-contract basis before spending a year in Sweden with IK Oddevold from May 1990 to May 1991.
.
Appointed player-manager by Ballymena United on returning from Sweden, Hagan continued to pull on his boots in the Irish League regularly up to his fortieth year, including during a disastrous spell in charge of cash-strapped Larne in 1994. Hagan made his final Irish League appearance for Coleraine in December 1995.
..
At the turn of the millennium Hagan was working in Sunderlands youth set-up before becoming Larne's Irish FA appointed Youth Development Officer. He was appointed Larne's assistant-manager to Kenny Shiels in October 2005. With Shiel's appointment as an IFA County Coach, Hagan became Larne manager again. Second time around the position proved as unsuccessful as his first attempt, and Hagan was sacked in November following a poor run of results. He continued to work as a coach in youth and women's football, briefly scouted for Norwich, and was appointed manager of Wellington Rec in February 2009.
