Biography:
Born in London, but raised in Fermanagh, Kieran McKenna was marked as a special talent from a young age. He played both Gaelic and football while at school and represented Fermanagh at the Milk Cup and Northern Ireland Schools before joining Tottenham on a scholarship in 2002. He signed a professional deal the following year and established himself in the reserve team in 2004/05. A combative box-to-box midfielder, also capable of filling in in defence if required, McKenna played twenty times as Spurs won the FA Premier Reserve League South title.
Coveted by the FAI, McKenna remained loyal to Northern Ireland, appearing at every youth level possible, including as captain of the Under-19s at the 2005 European Championship Finals. Promoted to the Under-21 team in 2006, he had the misfortune to be sent-off for two bookings during a 2-1 defeat by Germany on his debut. The highlight of his career at Under-21 level was a 25-yard free-kick to draw Northern Ireland level in a 2-1 victory over Finland.
From September 2007 onwards McKenna was blighted by injury and he was eventually forced to call time on his career in March 2009 due to a hip problem. Keen to remain involved in the game he decided to seek his coaching qualifications and took an appointment as a youth team coach at Spurs. In 2016 he moved to a coaching role at Manchester United's academy.

Biography:
English-born to Northern Irish parents, attacking left-back Chris Herron won Under-18 caps while with Tottenham. On his release by Spurs he was signed by QPR and he was called into the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad as an 18-year-old in October 2002 for a Euro Qualifier against Ukraine. He had to wait another five months to make his Under-21 debut, in a 2-0 defeat in Armenia, and he retained his place for a 6-2 defeat by Greece a few days later.
After a loan spell with Berkhamsted towards the end of the 2002/03 season, Herron was released in the summer. He drifted into non-league football with Chesham United where, after recovering from a broken leg, he rose to become captain. In 2007 he joined Hemel Hempstead Town and he stayed there for two years before an injury ravaged season with Slough Town. Out of the firstteam reckoning at Slough, he was released to join Arlesey in September 2010, but returned two months later.

Biography:
The son of Pat Jennings, Patrick Junior had some big gloves to fill. Initially a youth team player at his dad's former club, Tottenham, Pat Jr was also briefly on the books of Wimbledon and QPR while a teenager. Formerly an Under-19 international, through 1998 and 1999 he was a regular in the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad, but was unable to surpass Roy Carroll and David Wells so remained un-capped.
After some time spent playing non-league football in England, Jennings joined UCD. During his time with Ths Students he completed a diploma in Sports Management but left following their relegation from the FAI Premier Division in 2003. He then joined Derry City where he was mainly goalkeeping back-up. Jennings made headlines in September 2006 as he came off the bench in the League Cup Final following the sending-off of Derry keeper David Forde and saved three penalties in the shoot-out win after a goalless 120 minutes.
Derry's regular 'keeper through the 2007 season, Jennings found himself back as second choice in 2008 and joined Sligo Rovers on a season's loan. In July 2010 he signed for Shamrock Rovers as back-up to Alan Mannus. In March 2011 Jennings arrived at on a short-term contract Glenavon during a goalkeeping crisis. After a season with Athlone Town he joined St Pat's as a goalkeeping coach, registering as a player to cover for injuries.

Biography:
Matt Reilly, more usually known by the nicknames “Gunner”, "Ginger" or “Ginge”, had only played Gaelic football before leaving Ireland behind to serve in the army. He took to the association game while in Glasgow, playing as goalkeeper with Junior side, Benburb, but it was while playing with the Royal Artillery (based in Portsmouth) that he really came to prominence, playing in their 1896 1-0 Amateur Cup final defeat by Bishop Auckland as well as two Army Cup finals.
He represented the Army, Hampshire and Forfarshire before leaving the services and taking to the professional game with the fledgling Portsmouth. Pompey quickly grew to become one of the dominant forces of the Southern League, finishing third, second, first, third and fourth from 1900 to 1904. Reilly was recognised for his form with selection for Ireland on two occasions, both narrow defeats by England in 1900 and 1902. During a match against Swindon on 30th January 1904 he was hit by a projectile thrown from the crowd and punched a spectator, subsequently he served a two week suspension.
Reilly played the only Football League matches of his career with Notts County in the 1905/06 season. He made an inauspicious start in a 3-0 defeat at Stoke and lost his place mid-season to Albert Iremonger (who at 6’ 5½“ was to become a Magpies legend). Still, Reilly was recognised as a valuable asset and it took a £100 bid from Spurs to take him back to the Southern League.
In 1907 Reilly returned to Dublin to play for Shelbourne. He played for the Shels in 1908 Irish Cup Final, but finished on the losing side to Dublin rivals, Bohemians.
On retiring as a player he became a publican, a job with which he had also dabbled while still a player. He remained fondly remembered at Fratton Park and was amongst the guests who celebrated Portsmouth’s fiftieth anniversary in 1948.
There is a (tenuous) link between Reilly and Sherlock Holmes author, Arthur Conan Doyle. Doyle played as an amateur goalkeeper for Portsmouth AFC, the town's first club, while Reilly was the first 'keeper for the professional Portsmouth FC.

Club Career:
Biography:
In a ten-year international career Steve Robinson won just seven caps, scant reward for one of the most gifted midfield players appearing in the English lower-leagues.
Released by cash-strapped Luton in May 2008, attempts by Robinson to find a new club were scuppered by injury. He was appointed as the IFA's County Londonderry Performance Coach and then became assistant-manager of Northern Ireland's Under-19 side. In January 2012 he was appointed assistant-manager at his home-town club, Lisburn Distillery.
In February 2012 he was appointed as Northern Ireland's Under-21 team manager on a short-term basis. In October he was confirmed as manager of the Under-19 and Under-17 teams. A re-jig of the underage coaching set-ups saw him take charge of the Under-21 and Under-17 teams from April 2013. In early 2014 he stepped down from his role with the Under-21s to work within the IFA's Elite Development Programme. He retained his post as Under-17 manager and also took charge of the Under-16 Schoolboys side. In September 2014 he also joined-up with the senior set-up as coach.
Robinson left the Irish FA's Elite Development Programme in February 2015 to take up the post of Motherwell assistant manager, he remained a part of Michael O'Neill's senior international backroom team. In September 2015 he was appointed joint-caretaker-manager at Motherwell along with Stephen Craigan. Shortly after returning from Euro 2016 he quit his Northern Ireland role and was appointed manager at Oldham Athletic, but was sacked the following January. A month later he re-joined to the staff at Motherwell and within a fortnight was appointed manager following the sacking of Mark McGhee.

He retained his post as Under-17 manager and also took charge of the Under-16 Schoolboys side. In September 2014 he also joined-up with the senior set-up as coach.

Biography:
The son of an army major, Dick Rowley spent his childhood in a number of barracks. He excelled at a number of sports, representing Wiltshire and Hampshire at cricket, golf, tennis, 100 yards, hurdles and motoring. Further, while on active service Rowley won the DCM.
Rowley first took to football with the Fulwood Barracks team but on attending Taunton College Grammar School he was forced to switch to rugby. With his schooling over he returned to football and played as an amateur with a number of clubs and played his first League games during a brief spell with Swindon Town.
In May 1926 Rowley signed for Southampton and quickly struck an understanding with Bill Rawlings and by that November he had been awarded his first professional deal. Regarded primarily as a "schemer" capable of working space from deep, he was also an adept goalscorer. In the Saints' run to the 1927 FA Cup semi-final he scored five goals and began to attract scouts from more "glamorous" clubs. In 1929/30 he managed 25 goals in as many games, including four away to Bradford City and hattricks on successive games against Nottingham Forest and Chelsea.
Capped for the first time in a 2-2 draw against Wales in February 1929, it was his role in the same fixture a year later for which Rowley is best remembered, his passes setting Ireland on the way to a 7-0 victory and Joe Bambrick to a double hattrick. Rowley scored his first international goal in front of a 40,000 crowd at Windsor Park on the occasion of his second cap - indeed he was one of the few Irish players to earn credit as Scotland "stronger in every respect" cruised to a 7-3 victory. In all Rowley won four caps while a Southampton player.
In February 1930 Tottenham had an irresistible £3,750 bid for Rowley accepted. It was not to prove a wholly successful move as he was largely restricted to the reserves though Rowley did add a further two caps to his collection while a Spurs player. When he left White Hart Lane behind after a little under two years Spurs still netted a sizable £5,000 fee from Preston North End in a deal that also included Ted Harper.
In 1932/33 Rowley laid on many of Harpers' 37 goals and claimed five himself as Preston fell well short of the Second Division promotion spots. In the following campaign the partnership was split up as Harper left to join Blackburn mid-season and injuries restricted Rowley to just five games as Preston claimed promotion to the First Division as runners-up. Unable to face a campaign in the topflight, Rowley retired in the summer of 1934.
With his playing days behind him, Rowley became a coach with the Lancashire AFA in July 1937 and in the 1940s shared his skills and knowledge with RAF Uxbridge.Ireland Cap Details:
