Biography:
Captain of the Norwich side that won the 2013 FA Youth Cup, he scored penalties in both legs of a 4-2 aggregate win over ex-club, Chelsea.

Had been on the books at Fulham before signing for Chelsea as a 10-year-old in an £80,000 deal. He signed for Norwich after being released by Chelsea.

Joined Luton on a months loan in January 2014. The move was extended to the end of the season as Luton won the Conference title and McGeehan's impressive form earned him the Conference Player of the Month award for April.

Capped by Northern Ireland at Schoolboy and Youth level by Northern Ireland before elevation to the Under-21 set-up while just eighteen. Made his Under-21 debut as a sub in a 1-0 win over Cyprus in November 2013.

Made the bench for Norwich's senior team for a League Cup tie against Crawley in August 2014. After enjoying further successful loan spells with Cambridge and back at Luton McGeehan felt his career would be better served be leaving Carrow Road behind. He was once again signed by Luton, this time on a permanent deal worth "six figures".

In September 2015, McGeehan rejected a call-up for under-21 qualification matches against Scotland and Iceland, stating that he was "reconsidering his international future." In January 2017 he suffered a broken leg in a match against Portsmouth.

In May 2018 McGeehan was a surprise inclusion in the Northern Ireland squad for the Central American tour, though he had to withdraw through injury.

Biography:
In the early 2000s Wolves had a strong Northern Ireland contingent among their youth ranks - Sammy Clingan, Mark Clyde, Andrew Dickson and Mark McChrystal were all on the fringes of the senior team at Molineux.

A strapping left-sided centre-back, McChrystal had won Schoolboy caps while at St. Columb's College in his native Derry and added Under-18 honours while with Wolves. He was released by Wolves in 2003 and returned home to join Derry City. He initially struggled to make an impact at the Brandywell and for the start of the 2003/04 season made the short move to Institute on a three month loan. He played six times at right-back for Stute before the loan spell was cut short by injury.

Back at Derry, McChrystal slowly established himself in the firstteam squad, filling in at left- or right-back as well as in his preferred central defencive role. He established himself in the Northern Ireland Under-21 team, becoming captain, even when not assured of a starting place with his club side.

McChrystal was released by Derry in December 2006 having been identified as surplus to requirements. Within a few weeks he was playing for Partick Thistle in the Scottish First Division. He made his Jags debut in a 2-0 defeat by Clyde on 2nd January 2007 and was a regular through to the end of the season. He scored his only goal in a 4-3 defeat by Queen of the South as Partick almost came back from 4-0 down. McChrystal was released at the end of that season by new manager, Ian McCall.

McChrystal returned to Derry City in August 2007 and the following year he collected his first major honours, a winner's medal in the League Cup as Wexford Youths were routed 6-1 and a runners-up medal following an FAI Cup Final penalty shoot-out defeat by Bohemians.

In September 2009 McChrystal, unhappy with his limited firstteam chances after returning from a broken cheekbone, negotiated an early release from his Derry contract, the Candystripes being only too happy to offload players as their financial straits became clearer. He joined Huddersfield on trial but after three weeks he was unable to secure the hoped for move. There followed another trial with Crewe which proved equally fruitless before he joined Lisburn Distillery on a short-term deal.

McChrystal returned to Derry City in January 2010 as the demoted side gained an instant return to the League of Ireland Premier Division. In January 2011 he joined Tranmere Rovers on a six-month deal.

Biography:
A product of the same Manchester United youth set-up that has produced the likes of the Evans brothers and Craig Cathcart in recent seasons, Ollie Norwood signed his first professional contract in July 2009.

Already capped at Youth level by England, Norwood switched allegiances to Northern Ireland. He initially played for Northern Ireland in friendlies and minor tournaments, including an Elite success in the 2009 Milk Cup, while awaiting clearance. He made his competitive début in a 1-1 UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifier against Germany in November 2009, scoring the equaliser with a stoppage time free kick. In May 2010 he starred for Northern Ireland in the Elite Round of the UEFA Under-19 Championship, scoring twice (including another free-kick) in a 2-2 draw with Russia and a penalty to give the Irish a 1-0 lead against Italy prior to an eventual 3-2 defeat.

Norwood received his first senior call-up for the August 2010 friendly against Montenegro. He made his debut as a 64th minute substitute for Sammy Clingan, though by then Northern Ireland were already trailing 2-0 which turned out to be the final score.

Yet to make his United début, Norwood had a loan spell at Carlisle cut short by injury early in the 2010/11 season. In August 2011 he joined Scunthorpe on loan through to the following January. It was during his time at the Iron that Norwood scored his first senior goal, a trademark "belter" in a 2-2 draw with Huddersfield. Another loan spell that season with Coventry saw him play alongside Sammy Clingan but suffer relegation from the Championship.

In the summer of 2012 Norwood announced that he would be seeking a move away from Manchester United, despite the offer of a new contract, as he sought regular firstteam football. He drew interest from several clubs before eventually signing for Huddersfield.

In 2014 he moved to Reading in a reported £1.2 million deal.

Biography:
A young stocky striker, Billy Kee spent 2009/10 on loan at Accrington Stanley from Leicester City. He was part of the Northern Ireland side that claimed the 2009 Milk Cup Elite title and in September 2009, still just eighteen, he was called into the senior Northern Ireland squad. He was disappointed to be released by Leicester in May 2010 but quickly signed for Torquay United. In August 2011 he scored his first goals at  Under-21international level, a virtuoso hattrick against the Faroe Islands, so becoming the first Northern Ireland player to score three in a match at that level.  Early in the 2011/12 season Kee left Torquay for personal reasons. He move closer to "home" by joining Burton Albion for a fee believed to be around £20,000 and a startling run of goalscoring form saw him crowned Football League Young Player of the Month for October. In August 2014 he moved on to Scunthorpe for a fee believed to be around £250,000, earning Torquay a further £80,000 through a sell on clause. He failed to start a league game or score a goal for the Iron and joined Mansfield on a three-month loan deal mid-season.

Biography:
A regular captain for Northern Ireland at every Youth level up to Under-20, Michael O'Connor became involved in a tug-of-war between the IFA and the FAI and he actually turned out for the Republic of Ireland's Under-21 side. Because those appearances were not competitive he was able to change his mind and in November 2007 was included in Roy Millar's Under-21 panel for matches against Luxembourg and Moldova. In March 2008 Nigel Worthington then included O'Connor in the Full squad for a friendly match against Georgia.

A product of the highly successful Crewe Alexandra Academy, O'Connor helped Alex's youth side to the 2004 FA Youth Cup semi-final. Originally a more attacking player, he has developed into an effective defensive midfielder using his size to great effect. His League debut came is a late substitute in a 2-1 win over Brighton in February 2006 and he was a regular feature in the Crewe line-up from the 2006/07 season on.

On 6th March 2009, O'Connor joined Lincoln City on loan after falling out with Crewe manager Gudjon Thordarson. He was made available for transfer at the end of the campaign and after being linked with a permanent move to Lincoln and training with Hibernian he signed for Scunthorpe in a deal reported to be worth £250,000. With The Iron he teamed up with Northern Ireland teammate, Grant McCann.

Although impressing in the Championship on a regular basis, O'Connor has struggled to impress his international boss, Nigel Worthington. As such he has been only an occasional squad member, but despite news of his frustrations appearing in the press he has not been completely ignored.

Biography:
After a prolific start to the 2007/08 season, Scunthorpe striker Mark Paterson was called into the Northern Ireland squad for the November games against Denmark and Spain.

Primarily a front-man, he has also been known to play wide on the left or right. A real starlet in his young days at Stoke, he scored the goal that put Manchester United out of the FA Youth Cup, finished leading scorer in the Youth team and was named 'Academy Player of the Season'.
..
Previously capped at Youth level, Paterson made his Under-21 debut as a substitute in a 4-0 defeat by Wales in February 2007. He made his full debut as a late substitute in the final match of the Euro 2008 campaign, a 1-0 defeat by Spain.

Paterson moved to Burnley in June 2008. The Clarets had been chasing his signature for a number of months and the initial bid of £400,000 grew to £1,000,000 plus a £300,000 appearance clause. His 19 goals helped fire Burnley to the Carling Cup semi-final and promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs. The pick of his strikes was a 30-yard left foot effort against Reading in the play-off semi-final.

Although he played a key role in Burnley's excellent start to life in the Premier League, including in wins over Manchester United and Everton, the one think lacking from Paterson's top-flight performances was a goal - indeed he was guilty of some very poor finishing, notably against Chelsea. He was then ruled out by injury for several months and in his absence Burnley began to struggle. He returned to playing in late January and scored his first Premier League goal in a 5-2 defeat by Aston Villa on 21st Febraury. Two further goals could do little to fire the Clarets clear of the relegation places and their demotion was confirmed following a 4-0 defeat by Liverpool with two matches still to play.

Since Burnley's relegation from the Premier League Paterson's appearances for club and country have been limited by a series of fitness problems. He finally broke his Northern Ireland goalscoring duck when  he converted a late penalty, which he won, in a friendly draw with Finland in August 2012.

After lengthy contract negotiations with Burnley, Paterson joined Huddersfield in June 2013. He scored his second international goal with a header in a famous 1-0 World Cup qualification win over Russia that August. He struggled to establish himself at Huddersfield and had loan spells at Bristol City, Fleetwood and with MLS side, Orlando City. Whenever his Huddersfield contract expired at the end of the 2014/15 season Paterson signed a permanent deal with Orlando, though his injury ravaged stay was cut short as he was released that August.

Paterson signed for League One Blackpool in September, though he was unable to make an impact on the crisis-hit club and was released following their relegation. He joined Port Vale early in the following season.
