Biography:
Albert Finlay is regarded as perhaps Glentoran's greatest ever goalkeeper, and certainly the best in the Irish League during the late-sixties. As well as numerous representative honours and countless winner's medals, Finlay's finest moment was perhaps a full-length penalty save in a 1-1 draw with Benfica at the Oval in 1967. A steeplejack by trade, it was a fall at work that damaged his back and forced Finlay's premature retirement from football.

Biography:
Brother of Aberdeen and Ireland's Eddie Falloon, Robert spent his entire senior career playing as an amateur in the Irish League and earned two Amateur caps.

Briefly with Wolfhill Amateurs, Falloon soon joined Cliftonville Strollers where he quickly rose through the ranks to star in the famous Cliftonville Olympic half-back line of Addis - Falloon - Simpson. It was this trio that appeared for the Olympic side that defeated Dundela 2-1 in a second replay of the Steel Cup final in 1922. A year later all three were promoted en-bloc to the Cliftonville firstteam. Addis and Falloon earned rapid elevation to the Ireland amateur international team that travelled to Preston to face England in November 1922 (Simpson's amateur caps followed three years later).

Blessed with an infectious enthusiasm for the game, Falloon left Cliftonville to captain Portadown for two seasons before spending a year with Larne. He then dropped outside senior football to captain Broadway United for three seasons after which he returned to Cliftonville where he again took the captaincy. His form back at Solitude earned Falloon a recall to the Amateur international team after a seven year absence. It proved a difficult return to the representative scene, for not only were Ireland crushed 7-2 at Crystal Palace, but Falloon caught a severe chill which cost him a spell in hospital.

Biography:
Northern Ireland Schoolboy and Youth international Michael Ferguson won all the available medals with Glentoran in the late-90s and early-2000s. He had come through the youth ranks at The Oval with the likes of Stuart Elliott, Andy Kirk and Warren Feeney and made his debut against Crusaders in April 1998, establishing himself as a regular in defence the following season, usually at left-back. He lost his place to Mark Glendinning in 2001/02 and at the end of that season he was allowed to join Lisburn Distillery. With the Whites he featured in midfield and at right-back as well as in his preferred left-back role. He was released in 2008 and joined Dundela where he played through to November 2009 when he quit football to attend Bible college. Capped twice at Under-21 level, the sum total of his career at this level was just a few minutes as he came on as an 89th substitute in games against Turkey in 1999 and Malta in 2000.

Biography:
Daryl Fordyce established himself as an 18 year-old in Portsmouth's reserve team, his attacking midfield play earning comparisons with Trevor Brooking. He was sent on loan to Bournemouth in February 2006 to earn some senior experience and made his debut in a home game against Oldham.

A star for Northern Ireland at underage level, an early highlight was his four goal haul in a 4-1 European Under-19 Championship qualifier against Serbia & Montenegro in May 2006. Thereafter he was a regular in the Under-21 squad, scoring on his debut to give Northern Ireland an early lead in Germany before the home side came back to win 2-1.

Unable to progress to the Portsmouth firstteam, Fordyce was released in 2007 and signed for Glentoran. He was initially used in an unfavoured right-wing role by the Glens and was then over-shadowed by the signing of Keith Gillespie. Transfer-listed in a cost-cutting move during the summer of 2010, he opened the 2010/11 season with five goals in a 6-1 win over Lisburn Distillery and earned the Carling Player of the Month award for August as he was at last deployed in a central attacking role.

Fordyce made a shock move across Belfast in the summer of 2011 to join Linfield. In his first season with the Blues he claimed Irish League and Cup winner's medals. Mid-way through the 2012/13 season it was announced that he would be moving to Canada. He signed for FC Edmonton where he was joined by ex-Linfield teammates, Albert Watson and Robbie Garrett. Aside from a brief spell with Cincinnati, Fordyce remained with Edmonton until they folded in November 2017, at which point he was the franchise's record goalscorer.

Biography:
An over-lapping full-back, Alan Fraser was selected for Northern Ireland Amateurs as a seventeen year-old in 1970. A product of Hillsborough Scouts, he had previously won youth and schoolboy caps. He turned professional with Linfield in December 1970 and, despite some interest from cross-channel clubs, he remained as the Blues regular right-back for a decade during which time he won a host of honours and played well over 300 matches. He then joined Glenavon and in 1983 moved to Carrick Rangers.

Fraser became a much respected manager, initially starting out as player-coach with Carrick before coaching Ballymena, acting as reserve team manager at Glenavon and firstteam coach at Linfield. He was appointed Glenavon manager in October 1991, leading them to that season's Irish Cup. There then followed spells in charge of Ballymena (1995-1999), Loughgall (1999) and Bangor (1999-2000). He returned to the Glenavon coaching staff until sacked along with Stephen McBride in January 2009. The pair later re-emerged as a management duo at Rathfriland Rangers from December 2012 to May 2013.
