Biography:
A diminutive but skillful attacking player, Jordan Stewart's performances and spectacular goals for Glentoran earned him the attentions of several cross-channel clubs. Shortly after playing in David Scullion to score the winner in the 2015 Irish Cup final against Portadown, Stewart spent trial periods at Stoke, Middlesbrough and Peterborough, but it was Swindon Town who were persuaded to meet the Glens' £50,000 valuation in August 2015.

The same month as his move to Swindon was agreed, Stewart received his first call-up to the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad. He had previously played at Under-18 Schools level while attending Belfast Metropolitan College and for the Under-19s.

During his first few months in England Stewart struggled to settle and he briefly returned home. He finally made his Robins debut as a substitute in a 2-0 defeat by Millwall in mid-October. The following month he won his first Under-21 cap against France.
