Biography:
David Morgan joined Nottingham Forest as a fourteen year-old and progressed through their youth ranks. He was still just seventeen when called into the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad for the first time in May 2012, and he made his debut against England that November. By that stage he had already gained firstteam experience while on loan at Conference side, Lincoln City. That season he also spent time on loan with Dundee, playing his only SPL game as a substitute in a 5-0 defeat by Celtic.

Another loan spell in 2013/14 saw Morgan back in the Conference with Tamworth, however on his return to Forest he found himself surplus to requirements. He had grown frustrated at the managerial roundabout at the City Ground which saw ten different men (including "caretakers") in the hot seat During Morgan's six year association with the club, meaning that he was unable to make his mark, particularly with the repeated spells out on loan.

Morgan didn't move far from Nottingham after his release, joining up with Kevin Wilson's Ilkeston in August 2014. The following summer Morgan followed Wilson to Nuneaton Town.

Biography:
A former England Under-21 goalkeeper, Lee Camp declared his interest in playing for Northern Ireland in September 2010 having become frustrated at his failure to break into the England senior squad. Eligible for Northern Ireland through his Belfast-born grandfather, the required FIFA clearance for changing countries was received the following February and he was called into the Northern Ireland squad for the first time for a Euro 2012 double-header against Serbia and Slovenia the following month. After much discussion as to whether he would go straight into the starting eleven, Nigel Worthington's decision was made easier as Maik Taylor withdrew from the squad due to an injury and Camp started in Belgrade.

Northern Ireland's regular number one through the last year of Nigel Worthington's management, Camp's position came under pressure when Roy Carroll returned to the squad. In September 2012, after finding himself relegated to the bench, he withdrew from the international squad for "personal reasons" and he has not returned since. His club career likewise suffered and in January 2013 he was released by new Forest manager Alex McLeish, moving on to Norwich City on a short-term deal.

Camp provided goalkeeping cover for the Canaries for the remainder of the 2012/13 season, making his Premier League debut as a substitute in a 1-1 draw at Sunderland following the sending-off of Mark Bunn. When Bunn returned from suspension and regular number one John Ruddy returned to fitness Camp found himself as third choice and his contract was not renewed at the end of the campaign.

Early in the following season he was given the opportunity to remain in the Premier League, again on a short-term contract, with West Brom who were suffering a goalkeeper shortage. He never made it beyond the bench at the Hawthorns and when the club's more established custodians returned to fitness Camp was allowed to go on loan to Bournemouth. After good form with the Cherries his deal was made permanent in the January 2014 transfer window. He played 13 time as Bournemouth claimed promotion to the Premier League for the first time, but having been displaced by Artur Boruc he was released early in that historic campaign and subsequently joined Rotherham.

Biography:
Jim Ervin joined Linfield, where he had served as a ball boy, in August 2004 after being released by Nottingham Forest. A little over a week later he won the first of two Northern Ireland Under-21 caps.

In almost a decade at Windsor Park Ervin claimed every honour the local game has to offer, most of them several times over. He made his debut in a 0-0 draw with Ards on 14 August 2004 but had to wait until 19th August 2006 to score his first  goal, coming on as a late substitute in a 4-1 win over Distillery. In 2009/10 he managed a career best eleven goals, an impressive total for a right-back.

Ervin signed a one year contract-extension at Windsor Park in May 2013, but he then struggled for a regular place in the Blues' team. He made his final Linfield appearance in a 1-0 defeat by Dungannon on 16th November that year and he reluctantly negotiated his release the following January. As a free-agent he was sought after by Coleraine and Ballymena, but it was the latter that claimed his signature.

Biography:
A free-scoring attacking player in lower-league football, Birmingham-born Jamie Ward played in the FA Youth Cup final with Aston Villa and captained their reserves but was released in 2006.

Qualifying for Northern Ireland through his grandfather, Ward has played at Youth and Under-21 level and was long touted for Full international recognition.

In January 2008 Barnsley had a £400,000 bid for Ward accepted by Chesterfield. A move seemed likely as he was to become a free agent in the summer but personal terms could not be agreed. Derby County also showed an interest, but it was Sheffield United that claimed his signature.

After initial good form with the Blades Ward's goals dried up and mid-way through the 2010/11 season he joined Derby County on loan in a deal that became permanent at the end of the season.

Ward was awarded his first call-up to the senior Northern Ireland squad in March 2009. Despite good club form he was overlooked for two years, sparking rumours of a falling out with Nigel Worthington. He was re-called to the squad in August 2011, making his long-awaited international début as a late sub against the Faroe Islands.

Since the appointment of Michael O'Neill, Ward has been a regular in the Northern Ireland squad when not injured. He bundled home his first international goal from close range to give Northern Ireland the lead against Portugal in a pulsating World Cup Qualifier in September 2013, though sadly a Ronaldo hattrick saw the Portuguese leave Windsor Park victorious.

Biography:
Davy Martin spent his childhood in an orphanage before joining the Royal Ulster Rifles as a drummer boy - the nickname “Boy” then stuck with him for the rest of his life. It was while serving in the army that he took a shine to sport as a champion prize fighter and a skilful goalscoring centre-forward on the football field. Eventually he bought his way out of the army for £5 to sign amateur forms with Cliftonville before turning professional with Belfast Celtic.

With Celtic Martin hit the ground running, firing home 36 times as the Gibson Cup arrived at Paradise in 1933. He was still a teenager as he racked representative honours at inter-league, amateur international and full international level. Indeed the Scots must surely have grown sick of the sight of Martin as he marked his Ireland debut with a brace in a 2-1 win at Parkhead and two weeks later, his first Irish League appearance with another two in a 3-0 win over the Scottish League at Windsor Park. To add insult to injury, his only other international goal came in another win over the Scots.

With all the plaudits came the inevitable move “across the water” as Wolves forked out £7,500 on Martin and Johnny Brown (approximately two-thirds of which was attributed to Martin). An all-action striker, noted for his quickness of feet and thought, and most importantly, his red-hot finishing. He hit superb form with Wolves before he was surprisingly allowed to move on to Division Two Nottingham Forest for a then club-record fee of £7,000. Again with Forest Martin proved a more than reliable goal-getter, claiming another club-record with 31 goals in his first campaign. Thereafter his temperament brought him to loggerheads with referees and his manager and after just seven games in the opening months of his second season he moved across the Trent to Notts County.

In just a year of Division Three (South) football with the Magpies Martin again proved his goalscoring prowess. On the outbreak of World War Two Martin rejoined the army. During the war-years he guested with a number of clubs, both in England and Ireland, but was badly wounded in the invasion of Normandy in 1944. Thankfully he fully recovered and guested for Derry City before returning briefly to Notts County. He then finished his playing career with spells at Ballymoney United and Ballymena United then coached Ballymena and Carrick Rangers.

Biography:

As a player Gerry Morgan had a glorious career, but it was as trainer to Linfield and Ireland that he is best remembered.

A member of the Linfield “Seven Trophy” team of 1921/22, it was with the Blues that he won his first two caps. He then moved on to England where he was a regular centre-half (and occasional right-half) for Nottingham Forest in the First and Second Divisions.

Later he was to become 'Uncle Gerry', confidante to players such as Danny Blanchflower, wizard with the 'magic sponge' and one of the most enduring characters in the history of the Irish game.

Biography:
Gary Fleming was a teenage prodigy with Nottingham Forest in the mid-1980s. A stylish right-back, his attacking displays from defence earned glowing praise from both Billy Bingham and his boss at Forest, Brian Clough.

Having graduated through the apprentice ranks at the City Ground, Fleming’s chance came as an 18 year-old away to Arsenal in April 1985. Ironically the Arsenal side included Viv Anderson, a player whose departure had given Fleming his first-team chance. In that first season he made just one other appearance, but the following season saw him play 16 matches, and after that he was largely established in the Forest side.

Fleming's form for Forest so impressed Billy Bingham that, in October 1986, he put the 19 year-old straight into the starting eleven for a European Championship qualifier against England at Wembley. From then on, injury permitting, and despite the continued availability of the much more experienced Jimmy Nicholl, Fleming was Northern Ireland’s first-choice right-back.

Unfortunately injuries were something Fleming was to suffer badly with. An injury in closing months of the 1988/89 season, combined with the arrival of Brian Laws that same season, saw Fleming lose his place at Forest, and he was subsequently sold to Manchester City. Although the Forest fans didn’t rate Fleming in the same class as either his predecessor or successor in the right-back role, it should be noted that the team never finished lower than ninth in the First Division during his four years as a first team regular.

City had been freshly promoted to the First Division prior to Fleming's arrival and he was a regular in the side during the opening months as they struggled to acclimatise to life at the higher level. A mid-season managerial change saw Mel Machin replaced by Howard Kendall who's first signing was right-back Alan Harper, who had previously played under Kendall at Everton. Fleming was sidelined from December through to the following February, only returning to the field of play during a brief loan spell at Notts County.

In March 1990 Fleming made a cut-price move to Barnsley, by then managed by Machin. He was appreciated more by the Oakwell fans than at any other time in his career. Described as "a spendid defender", he appeared in the centre of defence and as a wing-back as well as in a more traditional full-back role during 271 appearances. For several seasons he was joined in defence by Northern Ireland colleague Gerry Taggart. In 1996 Fleming's career was ended by a knee injury.

With his playing days over Fleming trained as a physiotherapist and joined the staff at Nottingham Forest in 2000.
