Biography:
Young striker who came through the ranks at Leicester, impressing for their academy and reserve teams. Promoted to the Foxes' firstteam squad in April 2008 he never made a senior appearance and was released at the end of the 2008/09 season. He joined Northampton that summer after a successful trial and made his league debut on the opening day of the season, starting in a 0-0 home draw against Macclesfield. He scored his first goal in a 3-0 win after coming on as a substitute at Accrington Stanley on 18th August and became a regular starter and goalscorer from Christmas onwards. On 22nd September 2010 he scored against Liverpool at Anfield as Northampton won a Carling Cup tie on penalties. On his release by Northampton in the summer of 2011 he joined SPL side, Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Capped seven times at Under-21 level, he made his debut during a mini tournament in Ukraine in August 2008.
A rich vein of form early in the 2012/13 season saw McKay called up to the senior squad for the first time against Azerbaijan in November 2012, though he remained an unused sub. His goals for Inverness, including a winner against Celtic, earned him the SPL Player of the Month award for November. He earned his first cap as a substitute in a low-key friendly draw with Malta in February 2013. By mid-March he had become the first Northern Ireland player to score twenty goals in an SPL season.
McKay continued his good form into the 2013/14 season, claiming the September SPFL Player of the Month award. That season he aided Caley to their first major final, only to suffer the disappointment of seeing his penalty saved in a shoot-out defeat by Aberdeen in the League Cup. Mid-way through 2014/15, with his contract set to expire at the end of the campaign, Caley cashed in on McKay, selling him to Wigan for a fee of around £150,000.

Biography:
Brian McLean had won youth caps for Scotland prior to deciding to play for Northern Ireland, the country of his grandparents’ birth. An accomplished defender, he had came through the ranks at Rangers and earned his first call-up to the Northern Ireland Under-21 set-up in early 2005. Injury meant that he had to wait until August for his debut, in a 2-2 draw with the Republic of Ireland.
In an effort to gain firstteam experience, McLean spent the 2005/06 season on loan at Motherwell. Initially he played in midfield or at right-back, before establishing himself alongside Northern Ireland defender, Stephen Craigan in the centre of defence. His performances earned him rave reviews and comparisons to then Well manager, and ex-Rangers and England star, Terry Butcher. Lawrie Sanchez had no qualms in including McLean in the Full Northern Ireland panel to face Portugal in November 2005, though he was an unused substitute. The following March he was again included in the squad to face Estonia, and this time he came off the bench as a half-time substitute for Craigan, in a 1-0 win.
In April 2006 McLean was named SPL Young Player of the Month for March and was due to make his competitive Under-21 debut against Liechtenstein when he was suddenly withdrawn from the squad. It emerged that he wasn’t actually eligible to play for Northern Ireland having played in a UEFA competition for Scotland at Under-17 level. Further frustration was added with the knowledge that had he played a competitive game for Northern Ireland, at any level, prior to his 21st birthday he would have been allowed to switch allegiances. The Irish FA appealed to FIFA for leniency for the player due to their own “administrative error” but to no avail. Forty-five minutes was to be the sum total of McLean’s Northern Ireland career.
After much negotiation, McLean’s move to Motherwell from Rangers was made permanent in the summer of 2006, though his second season at Fir Park season was ruined by injury. In his absence Motherwell flirted with relegation, eventually finishing six points, and two places, above relegated Dunfermline.
After three seasons, two ruptured cruciate ligaments and 27 appearances for Motherwell, McLean joined Falkirk having failed to agree a new contract at Fir Park.

Biography:
Deputy to David Healy throughout his international career, no player has made more substitute appearances for Northern Ireland than Warren Feeney.
Warren Feeney was unveiled as the new Linfield manager in April 2014. Although initially intending to manage only, he re-registered as a player due to a lack of other striking options at Windsor Park.
In October 2015 Feeney quit the Linfield post to become assistant manager at Newport County. He was replaced in the Windsor Park hot-seat by David Healy. In January 2016 he was appointed manager after John Sheridan quit to take charge at Oldham. Feeney left Newport that September with the club bottom of the English Football League. In May 2017 he was announced as assistant manager to former Leeds teammate, Harry Kewell and the pair remained together when appointed at Notts County in August 2018.
