This stone was erected at the Balmoral Showgrounds by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in 1996 to commemorate the site's centenary. It was transported to Balmoral Park near Lisburn when the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society established the former Maze Prison site as their new base. It was re-dedicated by Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex in 2017.
