Blair was 5'10 and 11 stone 12 when at his peak in '39 - he said in his seventies that he was at the same weight as his playing days.s
Much appreciated!
Elder brother, uncle Jamie, capped in 1928 while a Coleraine player. The best of them all, Jack, died young - burst appendix - after turning out for Castlerock even tho he had severe stomach pain.
I'd really appreciate any further details you have, particularly on Jamie. Birth/death details, football clubs etc. You can leave them here or email them to jcd.nifg@gmail.com.
Jamie born 29 Dec 1898, died 28 Nov 1976. Irish Junior Cup winner, Coleraine Olympic, 1927. May have played for Derry City at some point.
Blair born 30 Nov 1913, died 25 April 1998. Junior medal with Coleraine Crusaders, 1937: 1-0 win over Hollywood Rangers at the Brandywell.
Many thanks Medusa!
