Biography:
Jackie Scott, also known as Johnny, played his only games for Northern Ireland at the 1958 World Cup Finals. He was selected nominally at centre-forward, but moved out to the left-wing as Peter McParland led the line.
Spotted by Manchester United scout Bob Bishop as a youngster, Scott's chances at Old Trafford were limited by host of international forwards. He went on to become a legend at Grimsby Town and in non-league footabll with Margate.
Jackie Scott died in an accident at a Manchester building site in 1978. He was 44 years old.More to follow.

On my db I had "John Randolph Scott"... is it an error?

I can't say if it is wrong or right, but Randolph doesn't match any source I have ever seen, though I have seen no middle names listed.
