Biography:
A member of the first Irish League representative side to face a club side, losing 5-1 to Liverpool at Anfield in November 1895. Won his only Ireland cap at left-half, though his other representative honours also saw Campbell utilised as a centre-half.
Brother of James Campbell (also of Cliftonville and Ireland), John Campbell emigrated to the USA, where he died in 1921.

According to an old reply from George Glass, he WAS Jimmy Campbell's brother (both had the second name Caughley). Don't know if George still thinks this...
